When you’ve tried your best to find the right career and still feel lost or stuck

You’ve talked to friends, family and your careers adviser, done the free online tests, maybe changed jobs once or twice, hoping it would feel different. Yet somehow, you’re still here, unsettled, not sure what career direction to take and the nagging fear that everyone else is sorted.

This is more common than you might think and there’s something you can do about it.

What I offer

I offer the kind of in-depth advice you wish you’d had earlier.

Using personality, interest, aptitude and values assessments, we build a clear, evidence-based picture of who you are and what will genuinely suit you. Nothing is computer generated or standard.

What the process looks like

When you get in touch, I’ll ask you to tell me a little about your situation and what you’re hoping to achieve.

I'll explain what I offer and how it works, and if it seems like a good fit, I'll confirm everything in writing, including the fee, so there are no surprises.

Once confirmed, you’ll complete a set of carefully chosen assessments in your own time, drawn from well-established, reputable tools. I then analyse the results thoroughly before we meet for a consultation of around an hour and a half to two hours, longer than I’d typically need with a younger client, because you usually bring real experience and instincts to draw on, and we use the time to make proper sense of it together.

After the consultation I write everything up in a personally written report. This covers detailed feedback on each assessment, what the results suggest about suitable careers, roles and working environments, and where relevant, further study, training, or a shift in direction within your existing field. I identify a range of career areas to explore, which may sometimes overlap or cluster around common themes. You will usually see a coherent narrative through the report so the findings make sense as a whole picture rather than a series of disconnected sections.

The most important thing to understand is that there is rarely one single right answer. What the process gives you is a much clearer picture of yourself, what matters to you, what you can live with, and what you can’t. That self-knowledge is what makes the difference, whatever path you end up taking.

A note on what happens afterwards

Once you’ve received the report, I am happy to answer straightforward questions of clarification. The service does not extend to ongoing job search support, CV writing or interview coaching. My role is to analyse, advise and give direction. There are other specialists better placed to help with those things.

Commitment and Fee

£650.

A deposit of £325 is required to confirm your place, with the balance due before the consultation.
